Paolo Mazzanti's photographic series are independent paths of artistic research, developed over time through different visual and conceptual experiences.
Each series begins with a thought, an intuition, or the exploration of a particular relationship between forms, space and perception. The individual works contribute to this research while retaining their own expressive identity.
Together, the series offer a way to explore the different directions of the artist's research and discover the works through which it takes form.

Paths through the artistic research
The series offer different ways of approaching Mazzanti's work: conceptual exploration, the perception of space and time, relationships with architecture and nature, and the transformation of familiar subjects. The groupings below are a guide to exploration, not fixed boundaries between the works.
Each series leads to individual artworks, images and information about the project. Details about editions and availability are provided in the relevant artwork pages. The publication L'immaginario interpretato is another context in which the artist's visual research is presented.
